Big Boy Is Pulling Into the Station
Calling all train and history enthusiasts!
The historic "Big Boy" freight train, built during World War II, will make its first-ever East Coast journey next month to mark America's 250th anniversary.
Starting June 6, the train will make stops in Fostoria, Lorain, Struthers, and more.

Sometimes You Just Gotta Shoot Some Clay
Are you like us, where now that the weather is warmer, you are itching to get to a shooting range?
If you haven’t been able to find a good enough excuse to go yet, look no further than the Pomerene Hospital Auxiliary Sporting Clay Shoot on Friday, June 19.
Located at Airport Ridge Sporting Clays, the clay shoot will include breakfast, lunch, and a raffle, all with the goal of raising money for the Pomerene Hospital.

The True ‘True Patriot’
It’s been ten years since one of Ohio’s biggest travesties: the death of Harambe the Gorilla.
Last week marked the official tenth anniversary of when Harambe was shot and killed after a 3-year-old boy fell into his enclosure.
While the rest of the country was in mourning, so too was the White House, which called him a “true patriot” in a social media post.
