The state is screening free movies across Ohio tied to the state's history and culture as part of the celebration. This month's lineup continues that tradition — here's what's showing near you.

Spirit Airlines is Dead. Or Is It?

Spirit Airlines was the budget carrier people loved to complain about, but couldn't stop flying. On Sunday, it shut down, stranding thousands of passengers and putting 17,000 workers out of a job.

But not so fast.

Voice actor Hunter Peterson took to TikTok with a wild idea: What if regular Americans just bought the airline themselves? Think Green Bay Packers — but with tray tables and baggage fees.

His website, letsbuyspirit.com, has already pulled in $88 million in pledges in just three days. If you want to make a pledge, you may have to wait; the response has been so strong that the site keeps crashing.
