Minnesota’s Childcare Fraud Story Develops
The Trump administration froze all childcare payments to Minnesota on Tuesday after reports of widespread fraud in the state’s childcare system.
One of the main childcare facilities reportedly receiving fraudulent government dollars featured in independent journalist Nick Shirley’s video was shut down last week, according to a Minnesota state official.
That didn’t stop the facility’s owner from making statements defending the business’s operation, including downplaying the misspelling of the now-notorious “Learing” center sign.
Shirley’s released another video addressing the business’s statements. You can see the video here.
