Brace Yourselves, Another Heat Wave Has Arrived
Bad news, Tradesmen, we’ve been hit with another heatwave.
For the remainder of the week, the high isn’t supposed to drop below 90, with tomorrow, Wednesday, being the hottest. Here’s the weather forecast.
Remember, when it’s this hot out, it’s important to stay hydrated, especially if you’re working outside.
If you’re like us and get bored with drinking water, here is a list of drinks that are hydrating while adding some flavor to your life.
There May Be No Saving Daylight Saving Time
You know that super bizarre and often hated tradition of rolling the clock back an hour in the fall and then skipping an hour in the spring? Well, there’s a chance that may soon be an issue of the past.
A bipartisan bill called the Sunshine Protection Act is set to be voted on by the U.S. House of Representatives next week.
If passed, the country would remain on the current time all year round, meaning no clock shift in the fall.
What this would also mean is that come wintertime, Ohio would see sunrises around 9 a.m and sunsets around 6 p.m. instead of the typical 8 am sunrise and 5 p.m. sunset we’ve grown accustomed to.

How Well Will You Fair at The Ohio State Fair?
Get excited! We are now only three weeks out from the start of the Ohio State Fair.
Running from July 29th to August 9h, The Ohio State Fair will offer a ton of events, entertainment, and, most importantly, food.
The best part? Ticket prices are shockingly low. Adults can get in the door for $13, and kids and seniors are $10.
Some crazy performances are coming this year, too, including For King + Country and "Weird Al" Yankovic.

The Hills are Getting a Mountain Coaster
As if Hocking Hills wasn’t already cool enough, it has been announced that the state park is getting a mountain coaster.
Now hold on. Before you roll your eyes and say, “There aren’t any mountains in Ohio! This is BS!” trust us on this one.
For those who don’t know, a mountain coaster is similar to a roller coaster in that riders sit in a cart on tracks. However, instead of using chains or boosters to get the ride moving, a mountain coaster simply uses the power of gravity by having the ride start at the top of a slope and end at the bottom.
To keep things short, they’re a lot of fun and perfect for the steep hills of Hocking Hills Park. Find out when the ride will be opening here.
