A Behind-the-Scenes Look at an Army Live Fire Exercise
The US Army is known to have some of the best weapons and training in the world, but have you ever wanted to see it in action? Take a look at this behind-the-scenes training video of real US soldiers learning to throw grenades, shoot rapid-fire rotary cannons out of a helicopter, and hit long-distance targets with their rifles.
Speaking of training, every year the Army Reserve hosts a “Best Squad” competition to give soldiers a chance to show off their skills and endurance. Challenges include gathering clues while wearing gas masks in a smoke-filled room, shooting accuracy using long-range rifles, and a team’s ability to safely remove a wounded civilian from battle. Check out this video of a squad training and competing in this competition.

Ram Issues Recall for over 72,500 Trucks
Ram has announced a recall for 6 truck models, citing safety concerns regarding the instrument panel cluster display. According to automakers, a system glitch may cause the display to go completely blank when starting the truck or even while driving. This would leave drivers without critical information, such as the level of their tank, their RPM, and, most importantly, their speed.
The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) reports there is a total of 72,509 trucks being recalled. Read here to find out if your truck is on the recall list.

Columbus, Ohio, used to be one of the most affordable big cities in America, but that reputation is now backfiring. Remote workers and young professionals fleeing expensive coasts are pouring in, driving median home prices up 20% in a single year to around $320,000. This is because there aren’t enough houses to meet the demand. Houses are now selling in under two weeks, usually with multiple offers.
In a race to meet the demand, the City of Columbus is putting millions of dollars behind new housing projects. However, this only works if they are able to find the laborers needed to get the jobs done. Read more here.
