This TV Trumps All the Others

The White House has launched "Trump TV: The Essentials Station," a 24/7 live stream on YouTube that streams the "Trump administration's biggest moments all in one place," including press conferences, speeches, and more.

Trump TV's creation comes after President Trump's recent decision to ban reporters from CNN, Politico, and MS NOW from entering or covering the White House, citing the companies' frequent spreading of "fake news."

Since then, Fox News Media, ABC News, CBS News, CNN and NBC News have all joined forces and agreed to suspend their pooled coverage of President Trump.

Meanwhile, CNN, MS NOW and Politico have filed a joint lawsuit against the president, arguing the ban violates their First Amendment rights.

Hear Ye, Hear Ye! The Renaissance Festival Is in Full Swing!

Some call it nerdy; others call it extreme fun.

Whether you fall into one of these camps or somewhere in the middle, it's worth noting that the Ohio Renaissance Festival is running now through Nov. 1.

Each weekend has its own theme, with different events taking place.

Visitors can find food, handcrafted goodies, live music, jousting events, and more; something even the most skeptical attendees will enjoy. Buy tickets and find more info here!

For those looking for something rougher and tumble, Kentucky will host its Viking Festival Oct. 31, Nov. 1 and 2. Click here for more information!

Is Converse … Racist?

The internet can be a crazy place, full of people competing to be the most moral, justice-driven person on the planet.

Well, the internet is at it again, this time claiming that shoe brand Converse's recent ad campaign is extremely racist.

The photos, critics argue, depict a Ku Klux Klan lynching: the lighting on the model's skirt resembles a white hood, and the shoes dangling from her hands resemble a person hanging.

In the end, the uproar was loud enough that Converse issued an apology and pulled every version of the ad.

The question is: Was the ad really racist, or were people being dramatic? See the photos here and decide for yourself.
