Huddle Up, College Football Is Almost Here
Amazing news! We are now officially one month away from Ohio State's first game of the season, and even less than that until college football picks up.
Ohio State is set to play Ball State at home on September 5, and as any Columbus native can tell you, the first home game of the season might as well be a national holiday.
Starting as soon as August 27, however, you can watch matchups like Southern Illinois against West Florida and Stony Brook at Delaware State in what's known as Week Zero.
Then, on August 29, North Carolina will play TCU in Dublin, Ireland, as part of the Aer Lingus College Football Classic. Week One officially starts on September 3.

The Massive Chrysler Recall
If you have a Ram 1500, pay attention.
Chrysler has issued a recall on more than 1.2 million Ram 1500 trucks over a seat belt defect that could increase a passenger's risk of injury during a crash. The recall applies to certain 2019 through 2026 Ram 1500 models.
To see if your truck is affected, check the NHTSA recall lookup by VIN.
Lockland Cancels Its Football Season
On Tuesday, Lockland High School, just north of Cincinnati, made the devastating decision to cancel its 2026 varsity football season.
The reason, get this: not enough student-athletes tried out, leaving the team without the players to field a roster.
According to a statement Lockland Local Schools posted on X, the district had anticipated low numbers of interested students this year but hoped to avoid canceling the season altogether.
Lockland has not had a winning record since 2019 and finished 0-8 last year.
